SUWANNEE COUNTY CLERK OF THE CIRCUIT COURT RECORDING DEPARTMENT The Clerk of the Circuit Court is charged by the Constitution and Laws of the State of Florida as the Recorder of all instruments that may be required or authorized by law to be recorded in Suwannee County. These duties and responsibilities are handled by the Recording Department. In addition to recording, indexing and maintaining the Official Records, the Recording Department also issues marriage licenses and processes passport applications. The Clerk’s Recording Department is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:15 p.m. and may be reached at (386) 362-0555.
